Volunteers play a vital part in ensuring that IHT can develop its work. By donating your time and skills, you too could help us to make a real difference to the integrated health movement in the UK. We offer a range of volunteering roles that are flexible enough to suit your lifestyle, interests and availability, including admin support and assistance in fundraising and marketing.

 

Volunteering is not all about helping others. We will do our best to ensure that you benefit from your new role as much as we do. As well as meeting other people and working as part of a team, you’ll be able to gain valuable experience and learn new skills, as well as increase your confidence and feel positive about using your skills.

Join IHT as an Associate Member and help create a powerful lobbying voice to ensure that the integrative health movement will be properly represented at the highest level nationally.

Millions of people in Great Britain are now regular users of natural health care and proactive self-help approaches but these people regularly stand by frustrated as far reaching decisions are made by the government about forms of farming, energy generation, education and healthcare spending priorities which promote economic growth often at the expense of public health and well-being.

There is a lack of a unified voice to challenge the interests of the intensive agricultural, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. The experience and knowledge of leaders in the field of IM is too often overlooked by the media and not included in Government debates. It is the aim of IHT that these people will have a voice and that the integrated health movement is properly represented at the highest national level in the future.

By joining today you will become a part of a movement for change in medicine and the healthcare of Britain and will help ensure that the integrated health movement will be properly represented at the highest level nationally in the future.
